About the Instructor (Robin Symes):

Hailing from Northern Ireland, Robin Symes brings over 25 years of experience in the game of golf. As an amateur, he achieved success across various levels, including county, national, and international competitions. Notably, Robin played a key role in Ireland's victory at the European Team Championship and represented Great Britain & Ireland in several tournaments.

Transitioning into his professional career, Robin competed on mini-tours and regional circuits, earning invitations to the European Tour. Concurrently, he pursued his PGA Class A qualification. His passion for teaching matured during his competitive years, leading him to serve as an instructor in the esteemed David Leadbetter Academy in England and later in South Korea as a Senior Instructor at their newly established facility.

In 2009, Robin founded the International Golf Institute (IGI), a dedicated coaching academy. He has since become a frequent contributor to Golf Digest and has worked with numerous world-class professionals. Among his notable clients is NaYeon Choi, the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open Champion, along with several other top-ranked tour players.

Although his primary focus is guiding aspiring tour professionals, Robin is committed to assisting golfers at all levels. The goal of this application aligns with his philosophy: to serve as a versatile tool that conveys his teaching expertise globally, helping players improve their game and enhance their enjoyment on the course.
